One of the jewels of the Bourgas region is the exclusive resort of Sunny Beach. Although it has always had a reputation of luxury and style (even during the grim communist times), it has flourished, expanded and dazzled in the last five years or so and has reached world class status. It has become world renowned as a significant vacation destination, a summer club hot spot, and not in the least, as an opportune investment location. 

 Located some 35 km. to the north of Bourgas, and 95 km. away from Varna, Sunny Beach is an important part of the Nessebar Municipality. It is situated in the mid- point of a semi- circular bay with Nessebar to the south, St. Vlas and Elenite to the north, the Black sea to the east and the Balkan Mountain range to the west.  The 8 km. long beach strip which is some 30- 60 m. wide with fine golden sands, the beautiful natural sand dunes and the naturally sloping sea bed make Sunny Beach a superb location for fun and rest in the sun. 

 There are now more than 500 hotels and accommodation can be found in premises ranging from family run hotels, camp sites to grandiose, five star, all- inclusive mega structures perched right on the sandy beach. The 130 restaurants and endless string of bars, clubs, pubs, cafes, taverns, casinos, discos and culturally historical sites in the area attract visitors from England, Ireland, Scandinavian countries, Russia, Israel, Poland and Germany of all ages and interests.
